In 2011, they established the first solar farm in Truro, the biggest in the UK with more than 5,000 panels that generate enough electricity for 430 homes in the area, saving over 700 tons of CO2. Lightsource Renewable Energy has been the recipient of renewable energy awards, including an award for most innovative system design and a leadership award in renewable energy .
